A bit about us...

We are here to be helpful always.

Hi there! We are Island Sewing Centre. We've been serving the North Island since 2012, offering a wide variety of sewing machines, notions, specialty threads, machine accessories, fabric and more, to support the creative needs of stitching enthusiasts.

We've always been a creative family who wanted to share our hobbies and passions with others. So, operating from our home, in a large utility trailer, we traveled to remote locations throughout Vancouver Island to introduce our products and services. In our second year we opened a brick and mortar store where we've been thriving ever since!

Our tech Dave is a factory trained technician who is qualified to repair all makes and models of sewing or embroidery machines. We also enjoy creating, teaching, and advising customers and students on many needle arts topics, including machine embroidery and quilting. Rounding out our team is Danielle, always on trend and one of the friendliest sewing, quilting, and embroidery talents in the on the North Island, Jenna, multi talented quilter garment maker machine tinkered and red seal chef (she’s always invited to retreats!)
